Stolen Bicycles Recovered - Local Concern Update

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding cycle theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

De Beauvoir Safer Neighbourhood Officers worked with Local Authority Contractors who gained access to a disused garage which there was intelligence stolen bicycles were being stored there. Upon entry 5 bicycles were recovered, including 1 from an ongoing investigation. Contact was made with the rightful owner who had the bicycle returned back to the them. Enquiries are ongoing for the remaining bicycles which were recovered back to Stoke Newington Police Station as none of them were reported stolen. We are also running enquiries regarding potential suspects linked to this incident.
